Swindon Down’s Syndrome Group

25th January 2022 / by Richard Gray

Our fourth launch of the month is a new website for Swindon Down’s Syndrome Group, a local charity championing and supporting people with Down’s syndrome in Swindon and Gloucestershire.

Responsive web design for Swindon Down's Syndrome Group

We love working with local charities and businesses and we very much enjoyed working with the charity team to put this site together.

Featuring an extensive information architecture, online shop, membership form (with payments system) and links to make donations, the site replaces an existing WordPress site with a modern, responsive design and easy-to-use content management system.

The online shop takes orders and creates an export file suitable for uploading into the Hermes web portal, making it quick and easy to print shipping labels for customers.

The new e-commerce shop also integrates with eBay, sending up products and stock levels, and receiving back confirmation of orders. Having order details in one place makes it much easier for the warehouse team to print labels, pack boxes and ship orders to customers as they now no longer need to check orders on multiple sites.

We also used our new Pink Fish Photography arm to take new pictures of all shop products.

Do have a look at the new website and see what you think.

If you like what you see and think we can help you with your next project, do please get in touch.

"We'd like to say a massive thank you to Pink Fish for all their advice and guidance during the build. It has been such a smooth process and they have been on hand whenever we've had any questions."
