New site for BXM Expeditions

5th March 2018 / by Richard Gray

We were pleased to be able to work with founder, Ben Maxfield, to provide a new website for BXM Expeditions – the largest DofE expedition provider in the UK.

Responsive web design for BXM Expeditions

Ben’s passionate about young people being able to access the outdoors regardless of their geographical location, their background, financial or emotional situation and his company delivers over 350 expeditions a year through associations with 180 instructors.

The new website showcased the work that BXM do with children of all ages – from those in years 5 and 6 (through their Early Expeditions programme) right through to people undertaking bronze, silver and gold DofE expeditions.

The site features an e-commerce shop where expedition equipment can be purchased. There is also extensive advice and recommended kit lists available.

Following on from the successful launch of the new website, we went on to develop a second website for Ben – A2i schools – which (in his words), “offers an opportunity for schools to sign up to [a] unique and successful motivational tracker programme to help un-motivated young people push themselves to achieve more by inspiring them through a target and goal-based approach.”

You can view both the BXM Expeditions website and the A2i schools website and see what you think for yourself.

"Pink Fish and I have developed a fantastic relationship over the last two years. After redesigning and relaunching the website for BXM, we have grown significantly and they have very much been a part of this journey. From this initial contact we developed two further websites together. Each time, I have given them brief ideas and visions, they have taken that away and come back with fantastic results. The team are organised, professional, friendly, welcoming and realistic with timescales which has been vital for me.  I would definitely recommend Pink Fish."
