WordPress/PHP developer

We’re currently looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer to join our growing team.

You can expect to work on many new green-field projects, as well as being asked to maintain and add new features to existing customers’ sites.

You’ll be working with existing Laravel applications for our current clients – developing new features and extending existing ones. You’ll be creating custom WordPress plugins and extending the core functionality of WooCommerce to meet new customer requirements. You’ll be able to choose and investigate the most appropriate technologies for future problems.

You’ll know a good user experience when you see one and will instinctively think about the best ways in which clients will be able to interact with the their application or maintain their content over time.

We’re expecting you to have had at least three of years’ development experience in a WordPress and PHP environment – more would be better if you’re working on our larger projects (which we’d like you to).

Qualifications are good, but experience counts too, so don’t be put off if you don’t have a degree but know Laravel, PHP, MySQL and WordPress inside out! We’d like you to show us some examples of your work too (but completely understand that once you turn a website over to a client it doesn’t remain in the state in which you delivered it to them!)

We want you to help establish best practices and contribute to the development direction in which we move.
